Tailored Solutions For Every Project
A Highly Customized Process to Meet Each Client's Specific Requirements
Understanding the potential inconvenience a construction project can impose on a fully operational business, our crews are trained to minimize disruption. Baja project managers and superintendents meticulously plan and stage the carport installation equipment and deliveries to avoid interference with vehicle and foot traffic. Most Baja Carport installation projects are executed in phases. This phased approach ensures that we do not interfere with or inconvenience tenants, employees, or guests of the property. Our managers and crews are adept at working under aggressive schedules, taking ownership of your project to keep it within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.
High-Quality Materials
All materials used in our carports are fabricated and erected in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and strict compliance with local standards. Our cold-rolled, light-gauge, high-tensile steel framing and components are designed to meet the standards set forth by the American Iron & Steel Institute’s AISI S100 North American Specifications for the Design of Cold-Formed Steel Structural Members.
Materials Used
Our steel members are galvanized per ASTM A653 with a minimum coating designation of G60 or G90, ensuring durability and longevity. We use wide flange steel (ASTM A992), pipe steel (ASTM A500 or A53), plate steel (ASTM A529 or A572), and miscellaneous steel members (ASTM A36). Our roof deck panels comply with ASTM A653 or ASTM A792 standards, and bolts used are ASTM A325N installed as bearing type connections, with slip-critical bolts also adhering to ASTM A325.
Superior Coatings and Finishes
We use Zincalume®/Galvalume® steel coatings, which provide a 45% zinc/55% aluminum alloy applied by a continuous hot dip coating process. This offers the strength of steel combined with the corrosion resistance of aluminum, resulting in a silvery-matte surface that is both attractive and less reflective than traditional chromated galvanized sheets. Our paint finishes vary by vendor and are factory-baked for durability, including options such as Polyester, SMT, and Kynar. The underside finish typically consists of a 1/2 coat backer or similar.
PV Module Performance
Baja Carports designs and engineers its Solar Support System™ structures to optimize kW production. The performance of power generated depends on the module choice, orientation, layout, and location. We can accommodate proposed PV layouts, improving the integration and implementation of our Solar Support Systems. This ensures maximum efficiency and performance of your solar carport system, delivering both environmental and financial benefits.
